July 8, 200718 yr Location: Flying northeast out of Bolzano. First follow the autostrada (freeway), then take a right turn into the valleys. Then go looking for the big rock formations.Mesh: FS Global 2008Aircraft: American Aircraft Aviation Decathlon (from RealAir Scout package)Some of the vector roads cut through the mountains (tunnels), but as a result the cars go OVER it. That's funny.I had some trouble with getting the textures crisp and sharp during flight, but "Refresh Scenery" from the tileproxy menu is your friend ;-)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/175052.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/175053.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/175054.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/175055.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/175056.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/175057.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/175058.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/175059.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/175060.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/175061.jpg
July 8, 200718 yr I see someone got inspired. I flew there this morning myself starting from Longarone, exploring the Alpi Belunesi and then heading along the Marmolada towards the Texelgruppe further west up to the swiss border passing the Ortler. Too bad that for a swiss coverage of similar quality one has to change the map-provider. ;)Oh, and a hint:http://c30s.alpes.gratisim.fr/The complete alps in frickin 19.2 Meters!!!This way the dolomites will really look like the coral reefs they once were.I will post some widescreen shots of that flight in the screenshot forums.
