When I set the acceleration to 1/2, the sounds and everything are normal so I really cant notice. It is the same as flying near stall which I've been doing for a while now with a twin prop a/c.It allows for better a/c performance than flying on the edge of a stall, and allows me to go 180 knots and get a descent loading of textures from the http source at the same time.Anyone experiment with this yet?Allen

Well, except that you're really only doing 90 kt. I.e., it takes 40 seconds to travel 1 mile instead of the 20 s it it would take at normal rate. Or put another way, it takes twice as long to reach your destination. So there really isn't any advantage over just taking, say, the Cub instead of a twin. Well, unless you happen to like the strange flight dynamics and exaggerated response times to control movements you get at 1/2 rate, that is. ;)
