Guest leo.sutton

I havent used TP in a while so I thought that I would give it a go again. But when I do the sim loads but I get this message:TileAPI_ObtainTile: Excessive TileAPI tile count (overscan:0.000000, tilewidth=8, tileheight=8, level=10, w=1, h=2147481630, w*h=2147481630)qmid=15, offset=-5.000000, drop=0, increase=0C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator XTileproxy>pausePress any key to continue . . .And all i get is black scenery.I have tried reinstalling but no luck and my config seems fine and has worked before.Any help appreciated and thanks for this great program!

what airport did you take off from? Maybe the geographic location is related to this failure scenario.

I'm getting exactly the same error message with FS9. I have tried all services using the latest proxyini file available but with all the same error occurs. Also it is not FS location specific.Any ideas how to solve this?Help is much appreciated,PaulNetherlands

PaulCan you please post the content of your INI file here - we have had people say they are using the latest version and when they post it, it is all incorrect.Barry

Here it is:## Start a line with # to comment it out.# Turn your text editor's Word Wrapping OFF for editing this document.## Read the manual for help with configuration. Do not contact the# author about the configuration for particular services. Thank you.#[TileProxy]# Enable or disable worldwide photographic scenery coverage (Yes/True/On to enable)master_enable=On# Write a logfile to disk. The 30cm resolution may only be feasible# if you have at least 2GB of system memory.max_lod=15# The following two settings allow you to tune Tileproxy to not preload specific LOD levels. This can# be used in conjunction with third party scenery products like "FS Altitude" that provides data only# up to a specific resolution. If you place this scenery higher than Tileproxy's world folders in the# scenery library then it will have precedence over Tileproxy for the specific LOD levels that it# contains. You can then instruct Tileproxy to not preload these low resolution LOD circles because# they are not needed anyway.# Lowest LOD ring to automatically preload tiles for. After entering the captcha correctly, the resulting session cookie will be stored as# a permanent cookie (expiration 1 day) in your IE Cookies folder and sent to the service on# subsequent requests. Yes - there are errors. Your iNI file seems to be setup for FSx , instead of FS9Change these things below -- I don't know if this is your problem , but perhaps.********************************************************logfile="C:logfile.txt" should be #logfile="C:logfile.txt" (This turns the logfile reporting system off - as recommended for FS9)max_lod=15 should be max_lod=13 (Your max load is currently set for FSx)preload_max_lod=15 should be preload_max_lod=12 ( once again - you need to use FS9 numbers)preload=1023 is missing from bottom part of MOVINGMAPsection******************************************************************See how you go with thatBarry
