Autogendescriptions.spb Sp2

Hi all.I have Acceleration pack installed, and downloaded a tweaked autogendescriptions.spb file. Now I read that this file must not be used with sp1 or 2, and in fact my FSX rebuilds the scenery database on every single startup which I think is due to this corrupt file. Unfortunately, my backup is from pre sp1 times, so anyone has the original sp2 autogendescriptions file? (or a sp2 tweaked file if it exists).thanks!

There are two copies of this file as far as I can see. One is a hidden file in your FSX root folder, and the other is not hidden in the \Setup\XPackCache folder.You could try deleting these two files and running the Repair option when you put your installation disk 1 in the drive. It will reinstall any files it finds missing. Make sure you make backups before you proceed.Good luck and welcome to Avsim.Mike.
