After owning the 600/700 version for sometime I today purchased the 800/900 upgrade.My question is - when I install the 800/900 version should the VC improve in the 600/700 version. E.g. should the overhead switches become selectable or not?

I seem to recall there is a file you need to run after installing the 800/900 upgrade that will add the extra functionality to the 600/700. I think it's the model update here:http://precisionmanuals.com/priv/pages/down/updates.html-stefan
