Run Time Error 713

i am in the process of moving from a computer with xp to a new computer with vista. so far all fs2004 installs and add-ons have gone well and some work better. however, rc4 starts up and when i go to load a plan it states "run time error 713 class not registered you must install on your machine msstdfmt.dll.so i did a search on vista an the dll was not there. went back to the xp and found the dll under sys32 folder, made a copy and then placed in the vista folde of the same name. still no go. reloaded rc4 thinking that might work still no go. tried turning off uac no go. any idea's would help. stuck in jax with no co-pilot!
