Complete Overcast In Fsx

Featured Replies

Hi there,Could you tell me how I can achieve a complete overcast view at high altitude with FSX and ASX?I can do this in FS9 by adjusting the sight distance and the cloud draw distance. In FSX the former seems to have been removed. Is it also possible to achieve a nice atmospheric haze in ASX similar to REX?Can this be arrived at by tweaking the ASX settings? Many thanksDavid

Hi David,Limit your maximum visibility in ASX. Make sure cloud coverage is set to maximum in FSX. Some think that setting cloud layers to 20 in ASX helps. Lock your FPS to an acceptable value in FSX.That is a texture effect, but ASX does not contain any textures. So you would need to use a texture program. Thanks,
