X Graphics Vs. Rex

From what I've heard X Graphics and REX are both good texture programs, but I haven't read a detailed review about the strong points of each. I have heard the clouds are superior in REX, but I'd like to know from those who own both about the water, runway and light textures. Where does each program really shine?Curt
