This is my set up:(all analog)CH PedalsCH Flightsim YokeCH Pro ThrottleI also have FSUIPC (latest version)What I want to is find a way to use the throttle lever on the yoke to control my spoilers. I want to have the ability to precisely set the spoilers during descent (right now I only have the option of full open or all the way down.) I went into the FS2002 control menu and tried to assign an axis to the spoilers but its not working. Any help would be appreciated, THANKS!!!

Rich:There may be a way for you to assign the axis to the CH yoke throttle using FSUIPC. Go into the FS toolbar, under MODULES, and navigate through the FSUIPC pages. I haven't tried it myself, but I would bet it can be done. I have a PFC throttle quadrant that has a separate spoiler lever that allows the kind gradual deployment you're looking for. It really does make a difference.http://www.expedia.com/pubspec/images/airlines/smNW.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZMinneapolis, MN

I've tried assigning the throttle though FSUIPC and haven't been succesful. With my technical skills (or the lack of technical skills) I need some guidance as to how to get this done.

Hi Grey_Wolf,I go into the same page that you showed a screen shot of. When I bring up the spoiler axis control box, if I move the Throttle lever on my standalone throttle I get the "Throtte" name in the spoiler axis control. For some reason no matter how much I move the throttle lever on the yoke it doesn't register in the spoiler axis control area. I know the throttle on the yoke isn't broken because I can assign a keystroke to it and it works, but that doesn't give me the gradual control I want over the spoilers. I am confused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two things I'd check on...1. check it in FSUIPC make sure your getting a responce there2. Make sure you only have one axi asigned to the spoilers, If you have two axi that controlls the same thing they will fight with eachother over wich gets to actually use it.Honestly I'm a bit lost myself as this works with no problem for me.in the worst case, if you cant get your axis to work, most glider panels and i'm sure there are plenty of other panels as well, have a spoiler gauge that you can mouse slide like a throttle gauge.Having FunGrey_Wolf

I use a Logitech Joystick and Use spoilers a lot for FS gliding.I change its setting in FS Control and Asignments. And as with all axi I then set its range of movement in FSUIPC.Having FunGrey_Wolf
