Asa Not Working In Fsx

I found like others that ASA was not working (except for the very first invocation) in FSX. Having read the forums I disabled my registered copy of FSUIPC (#4.40) through dll.xml modification and restarted FSX. Still no joy but then leaving FSX running and restarting ASA I received the start/finished messages from ASA with a visible change in the weather proving to my satisfaction that ASA was communicating with FSX. I have attached my ASA log file.
