Ai Aircraft Appearing In Select Aircraft List.

Featured Replies

I have recently installed an Ai aircraft package but some of the planes are appearing in my Select Aircraft List. I will never fly these planes (there low polygon and probably don't even have panels) so I would like to hide them so they stop cluttering up my Aircraft list. I believe there is something I need to tweak in the .air file to do this but I don't know what or what tool to do it with. Can anynody point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for any help

There are two tools most of us use for the purpose - one us called AirEd. http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...t&Go=SearchYou can "associate" the program with air files so they automatically open for editing with it when you click on one. The line in question is 105 - which is near the top of the list you will see. Changing the value to 2 will make the aircraft not display while if the value is 0, they will display. If you have a lot of AI aircraft to hide, you can use this program:http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...t&Go=Searchwhich can do batch processing of air files.Hope this helps. :(

Thanks Opa. Much appreciated.
