Iphone With Gps Out?

It is probably impossible but anyone know how to use an iphone with gps out?There is an iphone program-"skycharts" that displays current moving vfr charts for the US on the iphone-using the built in iphone gps.http://www.skycharts.net/?page_id=7Is there a way to "com" port the iphone to gps out so I can have a moving map on my iphone connected via the apple usb cable?

As I recall, gpsout requires a serial port. I haven't run it on my newer system, but have picked up a USB to serial port adapter. You might be able to get it to work if you can replicate the serial port connection somehow.
