Yannick Lavigne's Falcon 50 question

Featured Replies

Can you arm the spoilers on Yannick Lavigne's falcon 50 so they deploy when the plane touches down on the runway? If so then how do you arm them? I've had this plane for a while now and still don't know how to arm the spoilers, so I just hit the / key when I touch down.

HIPart of the Before Approach Checklist...Just press "Shift + / " and it will ARM the Spoilers and will auto deploywhen you select REVERSE .Cheers

Does the real 50 have an "auto arm" feature? I'm not sure. The real 50 also does not have a "auto throttle" I believe.Wander if anyone knows for sure out there?

I'm not sure if the real Falcon 50 has those features, but in real life you'd have a co pilot to assist with that, so those features might as well be there.

Nope--the real 50 has no arm feature for the airbrakes nor does it have auto throttle.Gotta run the throttles yourself and deploy the airbrakes when you need them inflight or after touchdown. In the corporate flight dept I flew for-- the captain deployed the airbrakes in flight when he felt he needed them and also ran the throttles (obviously) but the copilot deployed the airbrakes upon the captain's command after landing. In the air it was the PF's (pilot flying)job to run airbrakes, on the ground it was the PNF's (pilot not flying) job to operate the airbrakes.AQ
