Doors!

Hey guys!Just a quick question.No matter how many times I press Shift E to close the cabin doors, the main cabin door on the aircraft remains Open.If I use FSPassengers it detects the door closing but the aircraft still has the door open.I can't seem to get it to close properly.Any suggestion on what could be the problem?BTW I am writing about the MD 11 for FS9.Thanks much in advance.Teo

Go to Menu on the FMC then FS Actions and then Cabin Doors or Cargo Doors.

I had the same problem, door said open but were closed, I recycled through pedestal FMC and then armed them and that workedBrett Lucas

The doors have to be armed after being open. You have to allow time to close the doors before arming them. You should get a message on the screen (in lieu of Sandy the Cabin Attendent) telling you all are armed.

I had to arm the doors. After I did it the warning light dissapeared.Regards,Teo
