After initial success with ASA and FSX I am now having total failure. I'm starting ASA and when it's loaded starting FSX via ASA. I've been starting at EGNV, ASA loads the weather then, sometimes after a few minutes, once immediately, the textures reload, FSX hangs then crashes with a d3d9.dll error. I've been using REX and FEX but have gone back to default textures and it still happens avery time. If I don't use ASA all is fine. This is an edit, since posting this I've unwittingly made a positive change. I thought I'd go back to a previous FSUIPC4, by mistake I replaced the newer version with the FS9 version of FSUIPC in effect removing FSUIPC4 completely. This time although the texture reloaded, I now see this is when AI is refreshed, FSX hasn't crashed. I'll carry on flying and see what happens.John

Another update, after another hour or so of very enjoyable skies from ASA and trying both REX and FEX I've had no more crashes with FSUIPC still removed.John
