Video playback

Featured Replies

I just discovered that when I playback a video in FSX on the MD-11, the cockpit is pretty much cold and dark with all the displays turned off and no switches illuminated. During the landing sequence, the gear comes down but the flaps don't move. Is that a bug or just the way videos record in FSX?

Hi, The FSX "record clip" tool isn't fantastic for reviewing your flights, Im not sure of the specifics but I know it doesnt record all the actions you have taken on say for example an approach, it will only really show the motion of the aircraft. On my version of FSX it is very "jittery", best thing is to use a program like FRAPS to record your videos, pretty good quality and quite easy to use. Hope this helps. Link to - FRAPS
