Transitioning for 737NG and Mike Ray Training Syllabus
The aircraft itself it much more complex than the 737, however workload for both pilots is greatly reduced due to automation. If you use FS2 Crew SOP3 with the 737 NG, you will get bored quick in the 777.

"Insufficient Fuel"
Thanks. This solved the problem.

"Insufficient Fuel"
WX data is loaded via FMC "Request." The KSFO-->VHHX flight had about 50,000+ of cargo. With some short-mid length flight experimentation, the insufficient fuel warning seems far inaccurate; I'd often times land with 12-15,000 lbs fuel on board. One thing I did take special note of is the difference in performance calculations between PFPX and the 777's FMC. During intermittent stages of flight, the 'Insufficient fuel' caution appears in yellow on the EICAS. I simply announce "Cancel EICAS" via FS2 Crew. At this point it is more or less an annoyance, however when planning a 20+ hour one way leg, I'm more than reluctant to commit to the flight with the message appearing during preflight.

"Insufficient Fuel"
Started flying the 777. I use the PFPX/Topcat/ASN Real weather combo. When planning flights, all seems well until I input the route into the FMC and activate it, at which point I quickly receive a prompt "Insufficient Fuel" message on the FMC display, followed by the same warning message on the EICAS. This happened while planning a flight from KSFO to VHHX. I didn't take the chance of executing the 15+ hours flight with those warning messages, so I planned a much shorted flight; KSFO to KDEN. The same message appeared again, however I checked the 'Progress' page on the FMC which indicated I would land with all of my 12,000lbs of reserve fuel. Is this a documented bug, or must I change something?

Unknown if FS2Crew related
I just performed a flight from Flightbeam KPHX to Orbx KEGE without any issues. I think it may have been an issue with what I described above. Thanks!

Unknown if FS2Crew related
I did a test flight last night (Flightbeam KDEN to Orbx KEGE). Crash did not occure, I'm about to do one more test flght to confirm the issue was related to DEP being enabled.

Unknown if FS2Crew related
No, but I did check my error report, error action related to BEX error. Googled it, and applied a fix via the command prompt (Disabled DEP)

Had this happen twice in the last few days, will test further (FSX/NGX/ FS Crew Reboot V.2): While landing, and no OOM issues, FSX froze/CTD after landing about a few seconds after giving the "OK to cleanup" command approaching the exit taxiway. First happened at Orbx PAJN, second happened Orbx KJAC. The first time I figued it was just one of FSX's many instability anomalies with cause CTD's, however after the second time on seemingly the exact portion of flight approximately the same time after giving a voice command, I believe maybe there may be an issue with how the PNF initiates the cleanup procedure, causing a CTD. Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, how do I repair it? Thanks!

How is performance compared to FSX?

FSX vs FSX-SE
Which one is best overall for game reliability/performance? I'm with FSX now and have been wrestling with random freezing, CTD's, and OOM's.

Product installation
Ok cool, thanks for the info!

Product installation
Is it essential or required a copy of the NGX base package be installed underneath NGX Reboot? I ask because I am attempting to install NGX Emergency and I get a warning message a legal copy of the NGX base package was not detected, therefore installation aborted.

USB microphone not working in game
byork, I deleted and reinstalled my microphone headset drivers, and ran speech recognition through the first training session and into the optional second training session. It appears my FS2Crew is now working correctly. Given FS2Crew has worked flawlessly in the past, I did not think it was the program itself, just a confusing software issue somewhere. Thanks!

My mic works but FS2Crew can't hear me
How was this issue resolved here? I am having the same issue, with a new system reinstall

USB microphone not working in game
Ok so I purchased a new USB headset microphone (SoundBlaster EVO). I reinstalled the NGX, and reinstalled FS2Crew. Same problem. I just purchased NGX reboot and am slightly frustrated the siftware is not even working...

USB microphone not working in game
Any ideas? I'm thinking about picking up a new USB headset to see if that solves it. Otherwise my microphone appears to be working in all aspects of my computers operation other than fs2 crew

USB microphone not working in game
have reinstalled all the same stuff as before. I'm at a total loss I've googled the issue and several people have reported similar problems but no one had published a solid fix.

USB microphone not working in game
No I haven't The fact that my microphone records files well and performs flawlessly on teamspeak leads me to believe this may be a software issue within FS2Crew. I've used the same combo of software/headphone w mic flawlessly before.

USB microphone not working in game
Its the soundblaster tactic alpha. I just reinstalled FSX Gold/Accelleration. DOES NOT WORK WITH THE 777 OR DASH 8 EITHER SDK entry is in ngx options.ini

USB microphone not working in game
Yes indeed

USB microphone not working in game
For clarification, Micrsoft voice training works. I can records perfectly clear recorder files, and my microphone works great on teamspeak. Just doesn't work in fs2crew. I'm at a loss...
