The dreaded error 1309
I desperately need help with reinstalling FSX. I followed the uninstall guides, uninstalled all FSX related programs, eliminated all traces of flight simulator from the registry, UAC and anti virus/spyware are off, installing as admin, ran the license reset and the Windows installer clean-up but I am still getting Error 1309. Error reading from file: K:\program files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator X\licenses\ client-issuance-ood.Xfm-ms. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it. I can't find anything else to try besides an OS reinstall which would be a BIG, complex deal! It gets all the way through but I get the error before I can enter the product keys. If anyone has solved this before, I would very much appreciate some guidance. Please help, I am experiencing severe Flight Sim withdrawal!

FSX reinstallation question
I have decided to do a FSX reinstall. FSX is installed on a SSD separate from my C:/ main drive. I also have a separate drive (G:/) for scenery. I have lots of Mega Scenery Earth 2.0 states installed on this (G:/) drive. Is there a way to leave them on that drive and re-connect to the new FSX install?

My mic works but FS2Crew can't hear me
Do a clean install of my OS? You are hilarious. As I stated, it works on and off, mostly off. If you aren't going to support your product, please refund my purchase price.

My mic works but FS2Crew can't hear me
I have been away for several days and unfortunately, the problem is not solved. Even with the microphone set as "the default recording device", the programs ability to hear me is hit or miss; mostly miss! Same symptoms as previously stated. Josh Roberts

My mic works but FS2Crew can't hear me
Hi Brian I couldn't find a way to email you from the FS2Crew site, so I submitted a ticket (Ticket ID: HV7-278-EX99) with my email address. Thanks, Josh

My mic works but FS2Crew can't hear me
All settings are the same as when it was working. What would I be looking for? P.S., a remote session might save some time; just a thought.

My mic works but FS2Crew can't hear me
This is the only one I have access to. (just thought of this) I can hear my own amplified voice through the speakers. Is it possible that the audio is being sent to the speakers, and not the program?

My mic works but FS2Crew can't hear me
Yep, it's weird. Voice light stays on, occasional green "glidepath" or "e". Briefings and announcements work. Mute is not on. The microphone works for training, etc. ???? Stumped, Josh

My mic works but FS2Crew can't hear me
Hi Bryan I had tried the voice training, to see if it was the microphone on the headset. Voice training was working just fine. It's just on FS2Crew. I'm stumped.

My mic works but FS2Crew can't hear me
FS2Crew voice stopped working a couple of days ago. It starts fine but it cant hear me, no green bar when I speak. Occasionally I will see the green bar say "Glide slope" when I haven't said anything. I tried a reinstall as per the install instructions, but it still won't work. My microphone is working. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Josh Roberts

The FMC can't find ANY flight plans
Hi Philip, It could be a coincidence, but after I did the clean-out, I was able to load a saved FSX flight plan through FSX and then load it into the FMS, but not before. I see one flight plan in the FPL LIST, a flight plan I downloaded from SimRoutes in FS9 format. It is yellow, at FSK 2L, and I have not been able to load it. The tutorial KLASKLAX flight plan, which is in the same folder, is not visible. The renaming of an FS9 PLN was a bit of bad advice I got from someone earlier on. Tomorrow when I have more time, I will try to create and save a flight plan with the FMC, and see if it shows up in the list. My FSX install is on a separate SSD from my C:/, and I had to install the Citation on the same drive to get it to load, as opposed to the default C:/ location. I'm wondering if this has any bearing on the problem. This has been quite a head scratcher. Josh

The FMC can't find ANY flight plans
I want to let you all know that the problem is well on its way to being solved. Part of the problem was an overloaded flight plans folder. At Ron's suggestion I cleaned it out and now, as long as I have previously loaded a flight plan, the FMC can load it. The provided FMC format plan still doesn't show up, but we'll see what happens when I save a FMC created one. I am very impressed with the excellent customer service provided by Ron. He contacted me personally, walked me through the set up, and stuck with me until the problem was mostly resolved. Thanks again to Ron of Eaglesoft. If I discover anything further that I think will help other newbies like me, I will post it here. Thanks for all the help, this is a great community. Josh Roberts
