During cruise in PMDG MD-11 FS9 version with AS6.5, when the winds decrease or increase in speed, I'm getting some pretty erratic airspeed swings from losing 30-40kts to gaining 30-40 and putting me into an overspeed condition.I have FSUIPC (registered version) and click FSUIPC wind smoothing in AS6.5 options settings. I've played with the VAS setting and the suppress wind gusts/turbulence setting within FSUIPC to no avail. The only fix has been to disable winds aloft entirely within AS6.5 options--less than optimal.I suspect (as I've read) the combination of AS6.5 and PMDG MD-11. I occassionally get some airspeed swings in PMDG 747 and Level D but not to this degree.Any guidance would be helpful--is Hi-Fi working with PMDG to rectify?ThanksR. Perry

Hi,Make sure you patch your MD with their patch from yesterday. Our winds handling have not changed for a long time so any fix would need to come from PMDG.You might adjust the wind change values in FSUIPC to lower values and see if that helps. Thanks,

JimThanks for the quick response. I installed PMDG MD-11 patch yesterday, it did not solve wind issue. When you refer to FSUIPC wind values, what do you mean?Rich
