  1. Resolved. Turned out to be a fenix 3d co-pilot avatar mod in community folder. It's a great mod but needs update after BFU.
  2. No. I've been working with Adam at Fenix support. I sent him my Fenix logs. He replied that this is a known issue and is goiing back to developers to rectify in a hotfix or patch. No timeline given. cheers.
  3. So you reset the entire pc? or restarted? As I stated, I used Revo uninstaller which does a deep dive uninstall as well as I deleted all the Fenix folders/liveries etc that I could find and essentially installing from scratch to no avail. The issue must be on my end although others, including yourself, had issues with the install. I'll await guidance from Fenix before messing about in unknown territory. Thanks.
  4. Yep, I installed the BFU patch, no change. When I first installed the BFU, I installed over existing version, then I selected the American 319 CFM56 Sharklets in the silver livery. Other users stated the 319 silver livery was not complete, so, I'm guessing here, perhaps that initial startup texture was bad and impacted other selections? So, I uninstalled and reinstalled 5 or 6 times, making sure to do a registry sweep with Revo uninstaller. I then selected the base A320 in MSFS and again, no detailed cockpit or EFB, just blanks. Also, I slected "Safe" graphic mode in Fenix app to see if that would clear the issue, nope. Kind of at an impasse here till I get some feedback from Fenix via trouble ticket. One would assume that if Fenix was completely uninstalled the reinstalled, issues would go away. I haven't changed or added any other scenery or utility and use same graphic settings I've always used for Fenix. All other aircraft (Aerosoft CRJ, FSLabs A21 NEO, etc) are fine.
  5. Sent a ticket to Fenix but no reply yet. I've seen other users with same issue: after BFU enter cockpit, and the displays/panels are blank (background only, no text, labels, details etc) and the EFB is missing. I've disabled AV, uninstalled (via Revo), and reinstalled 5 times now with no luck. I am logged in each time, also unlogged and relogged with no change. Fenix was working flawlessly with no issues prior to update. Any advice? Thanks in advance. i9/13900K/RTX4090/64GB RAM)/2TB SSD/Windows 11/MSFS
  6. Utilities where? Sorry, not sure how to navigate to utilities, is that task manager? After BFU plane loads but no interior cockpit detail or EFB. Thanks.
  7. I recall the shift+F5 displayed chocks/flags/pins for the Carenado King Air 200 and C90 with engines off....is that function available for the new i350? Thanks in advance RP
  8. I was able to repair the usb connector and computer finally recognized the device. I first went to Windows controller and made sure it was recognized there, then contacted PFC support who told me to assign it as a joystick via the PFC GUI utility. Once I completed that I installed pfcfsx.dll to modules and configured settings via FSUIPC. Deleting FSX.cfg was simply a process of elimination to isolate the problem. Turns out it was more hardware than software related. Thanks for the inputs.
  9. Working some issues related to troubleshooting PFC throttle quadrant so I deleted FSX.cfg and restarted...re-tweaked etc. My question is, do I need to reinstall/re-run addons like FTX global, ultimate terrain, and REX or are those settings unaffected by deleting/rebuilding FSX.cfg? Thanks in advance. Mudhen
  10. Moved my computer a few weeks ago and had to unplug everything. When I plugged my PFC throttle quadrant back into the USB port, it no longer is being identified either in FSX controls dropdown, nor in FSUIPC. I tried to configure in PFC config as twin-turbo prop throttles, but no luck. I have FSXpfc.dll loaded in the modules folder. Also, I unplugged it and plugged into various other USB ports with no luck either. My Saitek rudders and CH yoke were identified and work fine. Using Win 7 64-bit. Any suggestions? Thanks
  11. That was it...I have precision flight control throttles with a spoiler lever which was assigned in FSUIPC....so unassigning the spoiler lever in FSUIPC did the trick...thanks so much for the assist...it was a real head scratcher. RP
  12. it is off when I first start then on its own, the box becomes green and the pod appears...I've uninstalled/reinstalled several times with no luck. Thanks
  13. A really nice aircraft I bought a few days ago. I have an issue with the cargo pod reappearing in flight after it has been checked off (shift +4 config menu). How do I save in the clean (no cargo pod) configuration? Thanks in advance. RP
  14. Nice review...superb aircraft...does what it was designed for...getting into and out of small airstrips and cruising nicely in the 6-12k block. I'm having a small issue with the pax cargo pod popping back into view when it was deselected in the shift+4 menu. Same comment on the limited docs. Brilliant! Rich
  15. At a few payware airports (e.g., KATL, KPHX), I get a few buildings/houses floating about 3-500' near the airport--everything else is fine. I've got FSGenesis, FTX and UTX for terrain and landclass. I have most of the payware airfields loaded below UTX in config. Thanks Rich Perry
  16. I've used SweetFX and ENB in the past and it was somewhat of a mixed bag (day/night tradeoffs)...I was curious if there are any recent (2014-15) updates and setting recommendations available? Is it possible to get sunlight rendering or dynamic shadowing in the cockpit--similar to P3D 2.4--within FSX through the use of ENB? Thanks in advance. Rich Perry
  17. So it is the actual changing of full to windowed back to full that results in some relative gain or less loss of VAS? I went from full screen to windowed mode and stretched the borders so that it appears to be full...I've had no problems with VAS since...might be a placebo but it seems to work for my setup...no OOMs in months. Tons of scenery/airport/aircraft addons..also running UT2 at 30%...limit spawns to 80 aircraft. Thanks for the comments. Rich Perry
  18. Got the ASN update warning as well...so I installed the updated SP2...prompted me to accept/cancel change affinity mask to 14 in order to prevent FSX lockups...ok sounds good...selected it...no issues after a 5.1 from KPHL to KPHX...then KPHX to KSAN... and a flight this morning from KSAN to KSFO (all payware airports)....TrackIR works fine...I don't see any strange behavior so far... I spend most of my time trying to tweak my PFC throttle quadrant in FSUIPC these days anyway : ) Rich
  19. I noticed a recent reduction of approximately 10-15 fps after I uninstalled Ut2. I'm pretty sure I deleted all the files with the auto installer provided but I also manually deleted a few from the [trusted] entry in fsx.cfg...while I was there I noticed I had a double entry for my Display Device....Nvidia GeForce GTX 770.0 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 770.1 respectively. Would/could this cause the sudden downtick in FPS? I made no other adjustments or installed anything which would account for the drop...all the anti malware and AV checked good. I also noted a line in the GRAPHICS section: SHADER_CACHE_PRIMED=1693500672 What is this for? Thanks Rich Perry Win7 64/i7-4820 OCd 4.6GhZ/16GB DDR
  20. I did use the FMC and typed over the initial altitudes prior to taxi...which I believed contained altitude constraints...but once I thought you typed in new alts and hit enter you were GTG...I imported from FSBuild. As an aside...takeoff distance with above data is 3400 feet with flaps at t/o....landing full flaps at @10000lbs GW sea level and standard day is an astonishingly short...like 2000-2500ft
  21. With the AP engaged ALT SEL set at cruise altitude (e.g. FL250) and alt knob set to 250, FMC set up for FL250, I got a controlled 1800 fpm descent to 11000...not sure why...even when I disconnected AP and leveled off...put the new altitude in the alt knob (aka VSI)...and reengaged AP, it wanted to continue the descent...question: does the aircraft follow the default altitudes in the FSX GPS (flight planner) or the altitudes from an add-on flight planner like FSBuild? Or, does that even matter? As a swag that seems to work...I take off with @11,000lbs GW on a standard day from a 200 ft airport elevation and I use 112 V1, 118 VR, 125 V2 with 700 on the temps... Rich Perry
  22. Not running DX10...did the UT X advice....reinstalled the TFDiM KALB2010 and it works like a champ. Thanks for all the advice. Rich
  23. I tried KALB 2010 before Tyler's KALB...I could never get it to load...what path do you use Jim? perhaps that is the cause of the no jetway issue as well...there must be some files left over from KALB 2010 TFDiM. I would prefer to use TFDim. Thanks Rich
  24. Yes I have AA set. I'm not sure if the default scenery has jetways but I'll check...if not, then the terminal building with the jetways may not have loaded. Thanks...perhaps you could install and check yourself?
