August 4, 2025Aug 4 Sent a ticket to Fenix but no reply yet. I've seen other users with same issue: after BFU enter cockpit, and the displays/panels are blank (background only, no text, labels, details etc) and the EFB is missing. I've disabled AV, uninstalled (via Revo), and reinstalled 5 times now with no luck. I am logged in each time, also unlogged and relogged with no change. Fenix was working flawlessly with no issues prior to update. Any advice? Thanks in advance. i9/13900K/RTX4090/64GB RAM)/2TB SSD/Windows 11/MSFS
August 4, 2025Aug 4 Commercial Member Fenix Simulations has just released BFU Patch 1 for their Airbus A320 Family for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. BFU Patch 1 is primarily a performance and stability patch, addressing the most game-breaking issues from the update last week. Maybe this resolves your issues.
August 4, 2025Aug 4 Author Yep, I installed the BFU patch, no change. When I first installed the BFU, I installed over existing version, then I selected the American 319 CFM56 Sharklets in the silver livery. Other users stated the 319 silver livery was not complete, so, I'm guessing here, perhaps that initial startup texture was bad and impacted other selections? So, I uninstalled and reinstalled 5 or 6 times, making sure to do a registry sweep with Revo uninstaller. I then selected the base A320 in MSFS and again, no detailed cockpit or EFB, just blanks. Also, I slected "Safe" graphic mode in Fenix app to see if that would clear the issue, nope. Kind of at an impasse here till I get some feedback from Fenix via trouble ticket. One would assume that if Fenix was completely uninstalled the reinstalled, issues would go away. I haven't changed or added any other scenery or utility and use same graphic settings I've always used for Fenix. All other aircraft (Aerosoft CRJ, FSLabs A21 NEO, etc) are fine. August 4, 2025Aug 4 While some say you can install over the top of the existing files, I had to uninstall then manually delete the old folders, reset the PC and the reinstall. Then came the notice that my account was open/being used on another PC. Corrected that (Google search has the solution). That got the plane and liveries working on my end. Good luck to you. August 4, 2025Aug 4 Author So you reset the entire pc? or restarted? As I stated, I used Revo uninstaller which does a deep dive uninstall as well as I deleted all the Fenix folders/liveries etc that I could find and essentially installing from scratch to no avail. The issue must be on my end although others, including yourself, had issues with the install. I'll await guidance from Fenix before messing about in unknown territory. Thanks.
August 5, 2025Aug 5 Commercial Member Will you have any freeware installed in your community folder to improve or revamp the textures of the Fenix A320 cockpit?
August 6, 2025Aug 6 Author No. I've been working with Adam at Fenix support. I sent him my Fenix logs. He replied that this is a known issue and is goiing back to developers to rectify in a hotfix or patch. No timeline given. cheers.
August 7, 2025Aug 7 Author Resolved. Turned out to be a fenix 3d co-pilot avatar mod in community folder. It's a great mod but needs update after BFU.
