January 13, 200917 yr hey there...i'm having a slight problem.... my fs9 runs perfectly in normal mode with an average of 20-25 fps....however....when i engage fraps to capture my flights...the framerate drops to an average of 9-10 fps....and my game lags due to that...any idea wat i should do to make things better??my pc specs areAMD ATHLON 2400+1024 MB DDR RAM80GB IDE HARD DRIVENVIDIA GEFORCE 5500 256 MB (AGP and not PCI / PCI-E)
January 13, 200917 yr Sorry to say but that's the disadvantage of using Fraps. At least for me, too.Since I now have quite a good rig, it's not a big problem, though there always is some frame drop and the lag.The later is especially irritating when editing clips later. I can't get perfect fluidity.Make sure you have the latest version of FRAPS. They always try to improve it a bit.And do some experimenting with FRAPS video capture settings.Best regards,Rafal
January 13, 200917 yr Hello,My solution (less FPS down!)Use FSrecorderUse FRAPS when you replay the FSrecorder replay !!http://www.fs-recorder.netResult:http://www.vimeo.com/2113312Regards.
