Not only Canadian and Australian simmers are affected. The Polish Zloty rate is such that 1 euro costs 4.41 zloty today. In May 2015 for instance it was just below 4. I remember it being 3 something. Planning to buy more addons the difference is noticeable. The general tendency doesn't add a smile to my face (euro price in zloty): Still climbing to cruise level. I'd love to see a nice descent.

Gregg, An awesome post, really. Thank you very much for sharing your sincere emotions and thoughts. I share most of your concerns and, being in the simulation hobby actually since it started, I 'quit' many times but always came back. I do not know which number is higher: the flights I made or the hair I lost trying to tweak and fix things not working as I would love them to. My personal top concerns are ATC (I love VATSIM, but limited time and personal circumstances around currently make me spend most time flying off-line) and, of course, the insanely high performance toll it takes to run FS fine (in its heavily enriched version of course). I wish you a lot of happiness and joy in all aspects of life. I hope your son will share the aviation hobby with you. :smile:

New York (probably being the worst performer of all), Toronto, London, Amsterdam, Paris... I would love to fly there more often in my complex jets, real weather, traffic and all my other FS bells and whistles, but every time I try I use some uncensored vocabulary. The last time I tried landing at EGLL with full traffic and heavy clouds, it was so bad that I had to do some research and set up a thread about it here in the forum.

Same for FSX. I have already reported it to Virtual Avionics. They promised to fix it by offering a new VAInterface within a week. From my experience I can say they are usually faster, so let's keep fingers crossed.

Robert, Thank you so very much for this unexpected update of the already fantastic 777 product. Let my shyly ask if this performance tweak is going to touch our beloved NGX too? Somebody had to ask it sooner or later, lol. Not that it has performance problems but, you know, every step towards beter memory management is welcome.
