Beta problem

Featured Replies

Hello, I have an upgrade version of ASA (AS6.5). When I install the beta upgrade and run ASA I get a message box that says "Registration key needs to be activated or is invalid." When I click the check mark, my computer locks up and I have to reboot. I don't have any problem with my key when I install just ASA. I did a search for an answer but didn't see anything. Any help would be appreciated.Regards,Mike WDFW

Hi,Sorry for the problem.Let's backtrack a bit.You purchase the upgrade, installed it, and activated it with no issues. Then you installed the Beta over the initial install and now when you run ASA you get that message box? Please let me know about this and we'll go from there. Thanks,

Jim, Exactly. I've uninstalled ASA and reinstalled, and I get the same message every time. I've even removed the reference to ASA in the registry. The base program installs fine. The problem arises when I add the beta.Regards,Mike W.DFW
