January 17, 200917 yr Hi,whenever the engines spool up or down on any of my installed aircraft, the sound is lagging behind and comes in chunky "stages" rather than the normal smooth transitioning. In other words the sound gets stuck for maybe one second at a certain level of the engine spool sound spectrum, and then makes a jump from there to a much higher/lower level as if it was trying to "catch up" by cutting some corners along the way, if that makes sense. It's incredibly annoying and of course unrealistic.I've tried removing all add-on sceneries and switching off all my AI traffic, thinking FS9 had somehow become overloaded, but that hasn't solved the problem.Has anyone experienced something similar or have an idea on what is causing this?/ Markus

It sounds as though it can't keep up - if it has hardware acceleration, is it enabled?DJ
