January 21, 200917 yr I have noticed on a few flights the weather reported on ASX and reported in the ATIS covers only a part of the airport. For example at KSLC the visibility was reported as 2 sm, but south of the field the actual visibility was greater than 10 miles, but once 1000 feet down the runway the visibility dropped to 2 sm.Is the a method to set the weather fully arounf the airport?ThanksLouis [img ] http: www.flight1software.com/promos/b200bannera.jpg[/img]
January 21, 200917 yr Just as an FYI, I've experienced this at LFPG a few days back. I had partly cloudy/rain halfway down the runway (26L IIRC) while it was clear skies on approach.
