DirectX 10

Hello, I have recently purchased a new system, specifically to get FSX moving without stutters and to fly my PMDG 747. Unfortunately I have run into a nightmare because when i try to load FSX in a high resolution I loose my 2d cockpit views in all aircraft and have to re-install FSX to get them back. The guys at PMDG are trying to help me resolve. One thing that he said is to try and use DirctX 10 preview and this brings me to my point...Is the directX we have not the full thing? I mean if it is just a 'preview' when can we expect the full version to be available.Any help on this would be welcomeRegardsPaul

The DirectX10 software you have on your computer is the full version, the implementation in FSX is just a preview of it, a 'proof of concept' if you like.FSX will never have anything other than a 'preview' of DX10. FS11 would have taken full advantage of DX10 I believe.
