Hello, Please forgive me if this has been covered somewhere and I have missed it. I currenty have Prepar3d and would like to shift to Xplane. However, before I do. I would like to know if anyone knows if PMDG plan to make their 777 available for Xplane? Thank you Paul

Hello, I would really be grateful if someone could kindly point me in some direction as to how to get beyond the loading screen in prepar3d. It just sticks there trying to load the opening screen of prepar3d. This has only happened since I updated the very latest Windows 10 preview build. I have tried deleting the Prepar3d.cfg but no joy. Hi, I took the advice of the above posts and used a combination of RexEssential + Overdrive (select natural for dawn, day, dusk) add Rex Direct 4, texture set Misty and use the program Mogwaisoft -Shade for FSX (select Blue haze Preset) Also, used was a combination of low and medium altitude SOFT clouds from Rex Direct 4, crucial to get th glorious sunsets is the selection of Dusk texture- Natural Hope this helps Paul

Hello, I stubbled across a program called RealTerraHaze which renders a haze effect for Xplane. I am wondering if anyone knows of a similiar program which can be used wth Prepa3d? I really miss the bluish haze effect. I am currently using RexDirect4 and Soft clouds , but the rendering of the clouds just doesn't seem to be right. I would love to get the effect that this program: Real Terra Haze produces in Xplane in Prepar3d V3. I think what I am looking for is raleigh scattering. If anyone knows how this might be achieved I'd be grateful if you would kindly let me know. Thank you in advance for tking to to reply. Paul

Dont' wont to moan, but I have spent thousands over years trying to get a realistic sim up and running. I confess I am obviously doing something wrong. I thought my problems of tweaking for hours and hours were over with the arrival of Prepar3d. I have a reasonable system: 16GB Corsair Ram GTX 780 Card 2 x SSD 450GB Drives 2 TB Hard Drive Haswell Processor and yet... 1. When I load Prepar3d it last s for about 10 minutes then I get a black screen 2. I can't change the time from say day to night, when I do I get a black screen 3. I find it hard to navigate around the sim, it doesn't seem as easy as FSX (maye I am not use to it) This all said I don't seem to notice too many others complaining about it or only beng able to fly for about 10 minutes. I installed everything on a fresh formatted drive. What am I doing wrong? When I fly it is amazing. Admittedly all my sliders are maxed out , except Autogen, which I don't like. Please help Thank you Paul
