Just about got to grips with this great plane having read through the literature a couple of times but can't figure the spoiler (if there is one). When pressing the slash key in spot view, nothing is visable, there doesn't seem to be any control on any of the panels, but in flight there's a huge drop in airspeed and lift.What am I missing? I imagine the 'real' Dash 8 would have spoilers?Cheers

The Dash-8 doesn't have spoilers. As I understand it, Oleksiy did use the spoiler function to emmulate the reverse thrust produced by the beta prop range (or something like that - I may have it all wrong). That means that pressing the / will have an effect, but it is not supposed to represent spoilers. The solution is, don't press the / key!
