February 12, 200917 yr Hi again, during the course of this week, FSX/Acceleration has been crashing with the faulting module being terrain.dll. I just had installed some new airport "afcads', but still have this error after backing them out. The only other change I've made is renewing my overclock attempts on my system. If I stay at 3.8 ghz, everything seems ok, when I go to 4.0 I seem to get this crash, yet my system passes prime95 for over 10 hrs. I had previously run mys sytem @ 3.95 w/o issue. I have also ran memtest86+ without errors and temps are great under load at 53c. Anyone have a notion as to why know why this terrain.dll error is occuring with FSX when my system is otherwise stable with the OC? Thanks. Regards, Kendall 7800X3D/G.B. February 12, 200917 yr Because FSX is one of the best stress test programs available. My experience is that FSX is the final test if an overclock is stable or not.You should also use OCCT to perform stress testing.
