ASA running Minimized

Featured Replies

Dear HiFi:Recently upgraded from ASX to ASA after being a happy user of ASX. The upgrade was very easy and everything was working ok. It worked well for several weeks at the same system I was running ASX.Since couple of days, when I start ASA and after the "Hurricane" splash screen progress bar finishes, it immediately go to the task bar minimized. After that, I am unable to maximize or restore ASA. When I click the ASA in the task bar minimized window, it becomes active ("pushed") but remains minimized. No window is restored. Obviously Im unable to access the main menu Config, Options, Change Flight Plan etc. It does connect with FSX (I see ASA banner announcement in FSX) and feeds WX.System is: VMware ESXi 512MB WinXP SP3 virtualization in networked configuaration with FSX Sp2. Thanks in adavnce for the help.Eric G.

You need to install the beta as listed near the top of the forum, it is a known bug that has been fixed in the beta. If it happens again in the beta version you can right click on the ASA icon in the task bar and select restore window position.

Cheers, Andy.
