FS X Wecome Screen

Featured Replies

I currently have FS X setup so it goes directly to the flight situation I have loaded as my default location and aircraft type. I would like to go back to having the program open with the welcome screen so I can access my logbook and scenery library hierarchy. I would appreciate anyone's help who could help me to set this up. Thank you. :(

Probably the easiest way is to delete your fsx.cfg file and let the sim build a new one on next start. If you have any tweaks in your current file, you can just rename it (to something like fsxold.cfg) and when fsx makes a new one at the next start, you can copy them across to the new file.

Of course, you could also just go to Options | Settings | General and check the checkbox that says "Show Opening Screen" :->Tim
