'Sooty' clouds with AS6

Featured Replies

Over the past few days all my clouds have become a curious (and not very realistic to my eyes) mixture of black and white:Clouds.jpgI use Flight Environment for clouds, so maybe the cause is there - but I have never seen this before, and haven't knowingly changed any settings to either AS6 or FE. Any ideas why this is happening? Thought I'd try for a solution here first anyway,Thanks,Martin

Hi Martin,Looks like a texture problem from FE or a video driver problem. I would first load another set of clouds and see what happens and then go from there. Thanks,

Hi Jim,I reinstalled FE from the CD-ROM and things look OK again now. If the problem reappears, I'll post back here. Thanks again,Martin
