Crosswind landing, ASA and FSX

Recommended Posts

I have used ASA and FSX three times, two of them with strong xwinds. The winds were constant during the final approach but (in both cases) when I reached 500 feet the winds were reduced from 25kts to 6kts in just two seconds, so I had to adjust my horizontal path seconds before touchdown, is this a bug? or this is how it is in real life?

Thanks a lot! you saved the day :)I think the trick is to have FSUIPC smooth the winds and DISABLE DWC in ASA so far things are looking very good in FSX
