  1. What weather program are you using, as i believe OPUS added this as a feature a few betas ago, not sure if its still in it but it did change the way it reacted to icing conditions
  2. dts replied to SuperG's topic in PMDG 777
depending on who you are flying with this is actually an option for those companys
  3. dts replied to alpha117's topic in PMDG 777
try using LINDA to map buttons etc, this works very well and there is a module out for the 777 already with specifics
  4. move your view slightly forward, if you head is in the headrest of the seat then you wont get any keys movement
  5. easy answer, use a registered version of FSUIPC, and disable all control with FSX and allow fsuipc to do all the controls
  6. this has been answered loads of time, on the forum, Basically, your throttles are not in gnd mode, so they need to go to gnd idle before the reversers, the the only way i have managed to get this to work, is to use fsuipc and set a zone up that presses F2 and then allows the idle to drop to 25% and then allowing you to put the reverses on. If you look for my post, you should find some pictures showing what i mean
  7. easiest way i found was to find the last waypoint and then insert it as the 2nd waypoint in the route and then gets rid of everything in between and then delete the 2nd waypoint, this way you then just have yor 1st waypoint entered, and you should now be able to enter from the beginning
  8. to be honest trying to fly this one by hand and actually achieving it spot on, actually feels like a huge achievement
  9. If you have a look at your Performance page on your FMC and then look at the fuel for your destination it would have shown you less than 5, easy way, load your flightplan load your enroute wind data and have a look at the estimated fuel, if it less than 5 then add some more
  10. Kevin, My work around is for Saitek Thrust levers, or other joystick thrust levers, if you press F2 it works 100% of the time, but for thrust levers especially saitek it doesnt, so this is the work aorund
  11. i have managed to work round this by using fsuipc and then programming one of my saitek levers to press F1to reset to gnd idle and then continue to reverse with the rest of the lever movement 1st set the area when you want to press F1 2nd setup the remaining reverser settings

when is the winds aloft part expected to come out, at the moment when i fly online with fellow pilots, the upper winds are a problem so i am unable to use Opus due to the large difference in winds speeds, at the moment the upper winds over Europe are around 80-90 kts where as Opus only gives me a rough estimate of 30 kts
  13. After trying this tonight I can see where you going, after 5 missed approaches I finally managed to get the drift, if you have the add on scenery then this enhances the experience.
  14. this will also depend on company policy with respect to remaining fuel.
  15. Using Airac 1203 and SP1Chave tried this route 6 times to try to replicate, and worked very time, i think a little more info, for example airac etc as people have asked already
