Steffen,actually you can use the FSX paintkit. I wonder why everybody is in need of the FS9 paintkit. I have laready done a repaint for the MD-11 in FS2004 using the FSX paintkit and it works perfectly.Unless I am missing something important, I can only recommend to use the FSX paintkit too.Christian

Thats a good idea. My concen is that we will loose some quality due to the converting processes from DDS to BMp and so on. But I will give it a try. Thanks !!Steffen

Steffen,there's no need to convert anyhting from DDS to BMP. The paintkit comes with normal PSD files. If you convert these with i.e. imagetool to normal DXT3 bitmaps you should be fine. The rest of the textures can be taken from other FS9 repaints.I haven't checked if 32bit bitmaps work fine too. But I can't iamgine why not? :)Christian
