Making AI flight plans

Featured Replies

Hello allI was wondering, is there any GOOD program out there to make your own ai flight plans? Im not talking about TTools, but a very simple program, where you just have enter aircraft, airport, dep. times/arri. times ect and then the program will compile it for you?RegardsMrdk :(

AIFlightPlanner (AIFP). But you should know that there is a learning curve. Once you enter the world FSX modification, nothing is simple. There are AI rules you must follow. You can't just type in some numbers and have it work. However, it really is a blast. Get AIFP here at Avsim, then head over to fsdeveloper.com and the AIFP fourm for answers.Bob

There are programs that try to simplify the process, but in the end there is no substitute for doing it by hand. It's the only way you'll get flights to do exactly as you wish with the most available flexibility. I recommend heading to http://www.john-goodwin.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/page4.html and reading this very simple tutorial on making flight plans.
