Hello,it happens often that metars from nearby stations differ by time, which causes strange weather depiction.e.g.LFCR 071323Z 31014KT 10SM CLR 09/00 A2900LFDH 071100Z 32005KT 10SM BKN008 09/08 A2900reported through ASA/fs9 today on a flight from EDDF to LEMG0ther metars got similar differences (time). Can't this be sorted out?regardsuli

Hi,Sometimes a station does not report. There are also stations that close down at night and do not report. What ASA does is if the data is 4 hours or more old, it disregards the data and uses surrounding data.In this example the difference is 2.5 hours and the weather conditions are pretty close so it shouldn't throw things off that much.Thanks,
