FS Freezing for Periods of Time

Featured Replies

Hi all,Thanks in advance for your help!I am running FSX with SP1 and 2 installed (via acceleration)I have RCV4.3.I am running Vista 64 bit.I registered the msvvt file (forgot the exact name) in the syswow64 folder. However, during running FSX it keeps on freezing at various points for lengths of time (it seems to be especially when Radar Contact is trying to play a message from ATC). It freezes for a good 6-7 minutes than comes back for 10-15 seconds and freezes again.I know it is Radar Contact as when I end the program FSX runs perfectly smoothly. Is there anything else I need to do to get this running smooth on my machine? I am a long time user, LOVE the program, cant fly without it, and never had this before. Thanks again!!!!-Ivan
