fatal error

Featured Replies

HiI did a fsx repair to try and correct some odd behavior (no a/c lights and smoke showing as black squares). No when I start fsx, I get a " fatal error " right at startup with no further msg's saying what the error/cause might be.Any thoughts on the matter would be helpful.RegardsErnest

I've found that when either repairing or reinstalling FSX (which being a reviewer I have to do quite often), the main causes for difficultiesare: a problem with MSI (the Microsoft Installer), an issue with .Net framework, a Direct X error, a OS service pack incompatibility, or a permissions issue with the operating system or a firewall.Might be none of those, but they are nevertheless a few things you could investigate.Al
