Kai Tak IGS 13

Featured Replies

I'm not sure that this is the right forum to ask, perhaps I should ask on the aircraft specific forums. Let me know. I want to get the Kai Tak IGS 13 approach in both my PMDG 747 and my Level D 767. Can anybody help with a link and some info on where to install it? I also understand that there is some nice freeware terrain and airport. Also, I notice that VHHX which I think is the designator since Kai Tak closed is Not in the database. VHHH, the original ICAO ident is now the new Hong Kong airport ident. Any help and links to SIDS, STARS and approach, as well as terrain with some suggestions on how to install will be appreciated.Thanks.Bruce [email protected]

Hi Bruce,And welcome aboard to the forums. FlyTampa makes an excellent payware version of Kai Tak (www.flytampa.com), or if money is tight these days you might want to try our freeware version, '9Dragons', which can be found in a multi-part download right here in the AVSIM file library. Do a search under "9Dragons"in the file library section. There is also a single file download available at VOZ website. More info about the airport and the downloads can be found at our website: www.MileHighProductions.cwhnetworks.com.I believe at the flytampa site they have further info on SIDs & STARs at their forums. Our package does come with SID/STAR for the PMDG 747. You may also find more here in the file library as a separate file, perhaps."Long Live the Tak,Clutch
