March 21, 200917 yr Hello people,I wonder could any of you people help me with a problem im having with my fs2004 installation.I have Reinstalled my OS (Vista 32) and reinstalled my FS2004, i keep getting OOm errors even after short flights. I am using Supranov YAK40 (I know its a fps hog but i like it) and sometimes the pmdg md 11. I have scenery of EGLL, EDDF, And EGCC. My frame rates are passable 20 to 30 with the pmdg (i have it set at 31) and all settings to the right. I am unable to paste my cfg as im in work having dinner. But im having trouble loading textures. It was better before i reinstalled the computer. I split my hard drive into two partitions, one soley for fs. And my page file sizes have been adjusted on both drives. Im using Alarcity which is good but still not helping. Im not sure if ive done anything wrong, could anybody advise me of anything that can help, Looking at my system below do you think my frame rates are acceptable. And is there a way round these oom errors ive never had this before ever and i was using a huge amount of scenery before and aircraft with no problems. Would another reinstall be a good idea? ive not put anything back on the computer.System :- Toshiba satelite p200 notebookintel dual core 2g 3 gb ramATI hd 2600 (i think its onboard, sometimes people quote 1024gb sometimes its 512 )250 gb hard drive split fs one partition everything else another. Graphics drivers last toshiba update was july 2008 and they dont like you using ati drivers. all other drivers updated with reinstallation and vista updates too.Any advice would be appreciated thanks guys (and gals)Richard Bagshaw
March 21, 200917 yr RichardPeople seem to be having good luck using the 3gb switch, and letting Windows handle page file size. Bob Bob i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.
