FPS Issues

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.I bought a new PC last August, and run FS2004. The spec I have is AMD Phenom 9550 Quad Core 2.20 GHZ processor, 4GB Ram and 512MB ATI Radeon 3650 Graphics Card with Vista 64bit.The problem I have is that I thought FS would run as smooth as silk with settings at the top, however it is abit a lumpy, especially when going through clouds. I wondered if anyone could give me any advise or tips on how to improve the fps. I also always fly using VC's.Thanks in advance.Dale.

I usually fly with PMDG 747 or LevelD and use ground enviroment pro. I have aerosoft heathrow and other addons of the same likeness. If flying at night and landing lights are applied this also slows the fps down.
