Bloom in FSX Question

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to tone down bloom at all, or is it an all or nothing thing? I like the effect, but sometimes it gets a little too much. I was wondering if there is a way to tweak it a little to lessen the effect just a little. in DX10 preview, bloom seems to be just right for my taste, but if I turn it off because I want my runway and landing lights back, the bloom looks overdone, only when viewing the plane from the outside view. Could this be a graphic card setting or a config tweak im missing?Rob

You might be able to tweak it via your graphic card's utility (i.e Catalyst if it's an ATI card). Don't know for sure, but that'd be what I'd try.Al
