Hello allI have bought ASA and the answer is probably staring me in the face, however I would like a bit of guidance!!! In ASv6 there were options to browse and select sky colours time of day etc.Where are these options in ASA? Thank you all.

Hi,Thanks for writing! In ASA there are no textures included so that is why those options are not there. However, you can still use ASv6.5 for textures using the ASA Snapshot feature. With ASv6.5 still installed, you can direct ASA to automatically take texture snapshots by going to the Graphics screen and clicking on the Extended Integration button. Then you will be asked how many sets you want to generate and we suggest 20. Then when you process a plan in ASA you will be asked if you wish to install a texture Snapshot that matches the weather. If you still want to manually chose textures, you can start ASv6.5 first, make your selections, and then run ASA and not use the Snapshot feature.I hope this answers your question. Thanks,

Jim,so basically you say that AS6.5 and ASA can live together? I thought I had to uninstall AS6.5.I'm plannnig to purchase, sorry for the questions. Thanks

Hi,Thanks for your interest!Yes, ASv6.5 and ASA can reside together. In fact you should leave ASv6.5 installed so that you can use the textures with ASA as described above. Thanks,
