March 27, 200917 yr I run FSX on Vista 64. I do like to use the DX-10 preview. I get good frame rates, etc. I know that FS-9 aircraft textures can be imported to FSX, which I have done for both the MAAM DC-3 and Briefing Time and I also know that those textures will not work wiith DX-10, the fuselage of both aircraft are a real bright white. I can deal with the "white" aircraft, but I was wondering since the FSX defalut DC-3 textures work in DX-10, if there was any way to use the defalut FSX DC-3 fuselage textures for the MAAM DC-3 fuselage textures, just so I don't have a "white" plane. If not, I can live with it and looking forward the the FSX versions of MAAM and Briefing Time. Brad
March 27, 200917 yr Hi Brad, the DX10 incompatibility has nothing to do with the textures - the model is not DX10 compatible :( Therefore the Maam-Sim DC-3 is always "white" under DX10 mode, no matter which textures you use. And even if, the default DC-3 textures wouldn't work with the Maam DC-3.We have to wait for the native FSX version of the Maam-Sim DC-3 :(GreetingsTim Greetings Tim My files on Flightsim.to i5 12600K | 32Gb | RTX 4080

April 18, 200917 yr Hi Brad, there is a relatively easy way to fly our MAAM DC-3 in FSX SP2 using DX10 preview and showing all textures in nomal colours.I am using it since several months with great pleasure (Windows Vista 64-bit and FSX Accelaration).First you must have installed the payware "Addon Converter X" of www.flightsimtools.com and the MAAM patches for FSX SP2 (or Acceleration).Next you have to change the Alpha Channel from black to white of the following textures:r4d_engine.bmpr4d_engineparts.bmpengine_32.bmpCan be done with the freeware-tool DXTBmp of Martin Wright http://fly.to/mwgfxThat's all. Then you can enjoy the flights with our MAAM DC-3 in FSX and DX10... Have fun!Kindest regardsMichael
