FS2002 Pro default Piper Cherokee 180??

Recommended Posts

Guest Lindy

Don't know for certain but I found a folder for one in my Aircraft directory for FS2K2, and I KNOW I did not download any Piper Cherokee. The plane does not show up in the list of available aircraft however, so your guess is as good as mine. -Lindy :-rotor:-wave

Yeah - as fas as I know it was included as an unflyable AI aircraft - like the Dash 8 and MD80 - there are a few zips available to make them flyableThere's also a pretty nice downloadable Cherokee with virtual cockpit that's based on the default model I think

There is a very nice G-Max flyable Arrow III or IV here by Warren Braier (SP?) which is a retractable gear version that flies very well. I have flown the real pa28-180 and to the best of my recollection, these both fly as anticipated. With all the pa28 model names floating for Piper or "New Piper" as it is now called, you might wish to checkout the Archer and Warrior models of slightly different power and wing shape variations.I really liked the stability of the 180 having flown it through some inclement (but still VFR) weather and the model seems to follow taking advantage of the increased wing dihedral and weight. It follows the gentle stall and recovery characteristics of its real counterpart.
