March 29, 200917 yr I have never seen this problem before. Randomly, after being issued instructions by ATC, the answer menu will be blank. This means I cannot respond, so after repeated queries from ATC my IFR flightplan is cancelled. I am running FSX on Vista, boot camp on my Power Book (which works great), have EditVoicepack installed to add airlines, and am flying Wilco Airbus Vol. 1 and 2 mostly with FS2Crew. The only thing I can think of that's different is I installed Vol. 2. Don't see how that could make any difference.I can re-file, but this happens when being vectored, too, so I'm ordered to cruising altitude.Big problem. Anyone seen anything like this?
March 29, 200917 yr This is a well known issue in FSX I'm afraid. To work around it, just flip frequencies (choose your #2 freq. and then back to the one you we're issued an instruction from ) and the menu re'appears.Very annoying but I know of no permanent fix for this one.Hope that helps./jonas ----------------------------------------------------- i7 920 @ 3.6 GHz; 6Gb DDR3; Windows 7 Ultimate x64; Sim disk=300Gb 10,000rpm (VelociRaptor); OS disk=300Gb 7,200rpm Radeon HD 4870 X2; Audigy 2 ZS; Dual monitors=24" Dell Widescreen (TFT) & 19" BenQ (TFT) FSX Acceleration
March 29, 200917 yr Pressing the "tab" button twice to close and immediately re-open the ATC window also works. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
