Greetings all,ive a small problem i cant work out and need some help. I have fs9 installed into vista, it runs well but if i exit the sim and send it to the taskbar it locks up and wont let me go back into the sim and i have to shut my rig down. Ah yes, I've had this problem multiple times. Sometimes I managed to get it back. What sometimes worked for me is activate it, and press alt-enter. If all goes well, you should get into windowed mode. Now, press esc and "end flight". Sometimes this worked, sometimes it didn't. The only advice I can really give you is simple: Don't minimize FS2004 in Vista, because it doesn't work. It'll only cause you headaches.
