April 16, 200917 yr Yes I have java installed and it is the latest version. Thank you all for the help. I guess I will just wait for FS11 when they add the fully functional carriers as part of the default scenery and set up guidance systems that you can utilize (I hope).I just googled "aicarriers error" and came up with this: http://www.flightsimworld.com/forums/index...howtopic=142915I do recall that others have had similar problems and needed to verify/correctthe path statement in the EXE.XML file. That file is located in the same directoryas your fsx.CFG file. If you are running Vista, that file may not have beenupdated. Since I don't/won't have Vista on my machine I can't help inthose areas. Here is a copy of my EXE.XML file for reference:<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>EXE.XML</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon><Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Name>AICarriers</Name> <Path>K:\FSX Tools\AI carriers\aicarriers.exe</Path> <CommandLine>-nogui</CommandLine> </Launch.Addon></SimBase.Document> Note that I have my aicarriers in a 'non standard place'...my K: drive. My FSX install is on my I: drive.here is another link that may help...again Googled...but a thread inwhich I provided the 'answer' :)http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=4132 Paul
